Legananny, county Down.
Splendidly situated on the upper slopes of Slieve Croob, affording magnificent
views of the Mourne Mountains to the south-west,
this lean and narrow tomb has been denuded of most of its cairn, and the sidestones
of the chamber.
One of the portal-stones has a striking L-shaped notch which is at least partly
artificial:
similar 'shouldering' occurs on some standing-stones and another portal-tomb
in the vicinity - and at the court-tomb
at Ballywholan,
county Tyrone..
