Ravensdale Forest, county Louth

Unfortunately, this stone circle, romantically located close to the Dundalk-Newry road, was one of several conceits
of a local antiquarian, Lord Clermont, in the 19th century.
He also had local people build pig-styes, dog-kennels and hen-houses in the style of the handful of
sweathouses in the area.
